Some updates
In celebration of World Meditation Day, we are unveiling our new brand identity and website. We’ve been working hard these past few months, refining our existing products and creating new ones, and also collaborating on some very exciting projects with brands we love. Today, we’re adding two new cushions to the Walden family, as well as a clothing collaboration made with our friends at Museum of Peace & Quiet and introducing our most ambitious and exciting product to date.
Large Mat
Many of our customers have asked for a larger mat that matches the typical proportions of a traditional meditation mat. We took this into consideration and designed a larger version of our original mat. It still uses our premium antimicrobial exterior shell, and is filled with the same medium density foam to protect your knees and ankles. It’s a simple product, but we took every detail into consideration. We removed the zipper to simplify the design, and we even matched the corner radius of the mat to match perfectly with the cushion. We hope all of the thought that went into this brings a visual harmony to our customer’s space. We have been using it for a while now and have found it to be great for certain meditation poses like seiza and burmese.
Slim Cushion
The idea for this design came from our love to get outside and travel. We found ourselves a little apprehensive to bring our classic cushion with us when we would step outside of the home, so we decided to create a solution. We designed the travel cushion to be all you need to create the proper posture for meditation. It’s just enough height to create the perfect pelvic tilt to align your spine and create the ideal lombardic curve to support the weight of your body. The Travel Cushion is half the weight of our classic cushion, but features the same exterior shell, organic buckwheat fill, and layer of memory foam for added comfort. It’s the perfect cushion to bring with you to the park, or even on a plane. Our team has been using it for months now and we absolutely love it.

We’ve long been a fan of Museum of Peace & Quiet - both their products and their ethos. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner for our first collaboration. As meditation is intrinsic to both our company's and our personal lives, we thought World Meditation Day would be the perfect opportunity to create a collection together that encourages people to slow down and be present.

The Timer
The Timer is a product we have been working on for a long time. It is something that started as a passion project and turned into something we can’t wait to share with the world. We don’t want to say too much yet, but The Timer is a combination of our passion for design and engineering as well as our commitment creating products that challenge the status quo. Our team has a strong belief that the objects we keep around us have the ability to inspire and define our daily rituals. We wanted to create the perfect timer for meditating that represented all of this. We are still going through the last stages of development and preparing for launch in Fall 2021, but we can’t wait to share more soon.
