The Walden Meditation Mat was the comfort cheat code I did not know that I needed. When I sat in meditation in previous experiences - and because of the tightness in my hips - my seated position put A LOT of pressure on my feet. I could not stay seated for long, or found myself heavily distracted by the discomfort and pressure. The Mat supported my feet, relieving that positional discomfort that allowed me to sit confidently and pain free, allowing me to dive much deeper into my meditative practice. I went from martyring my body in effort to sustain an important practice to sitting with support of the Earth's bounty transformed into a supportive platform for personal, spiritual, and cosmic growth. What's more is that comfort also encouraged my son to begin meditating in his own way, which I am eternally grateful for. I am grateful to all that brought this product forward. There may be others like it, yet, for me there will never be anything like it.
